The Thunder 1 Experience

Our halibut fishing charter typically lasts between 4 up to 5 days with our most valued guests staying aboard our classic 52″ Wahl Trawler known as the M.V Thunder 1. Wahl boats were built by the famous Wahl family out of Prince Rupert. They were a mainstay of the Canadian fishing fleet for many years.

We accommodate small groups of 4 to 6 guests and you have the vessel all to yourselves. No returning to port each day as we anchor out in the pristine wilderness close to the morning fishing grounds. You will be treated wonderful seafood meals as you relax in the evening in a beautiful sheltered cove. Thunder 1 Adventures is truly one of the premier live aboard fishing vessels on the west coast.
