Prince Rupert Halibut Fishing

Because of the deep, rich waters off BC’s West Coast, Prince Rupert Halibut fishing is strong throughout the entire fishing season. Halibut can reach in excess of 200 lbs however new regulations restrict the size to about 70 lbs, That does not prevent you from hooking up and fighting the big ones but as they are female breeders we will release them back to the wild to preserve our stocks for years to come.. The great thing about Prince Rupert halibut fishing is that you never know when a monster halibut from the deep water might take your bait. Your hosts on Thunder 1 have released halibut up to   200 lbs. caught in past years.
