Luxury Live Aboard Fishing and Eco Charters

Thunder 1 Adventures offers unique all-inclusive live aboard fishing and eco tours in the magnificent wilderness of northern British Columbia. Board your private yacht charter in Prince Rupert BC to experience the best Salmon and Halibut fishing on the BC coast. Our charters span 4 or 5 days with longer custom trips available if the schedule permits. We cater to small personal groups of 4 to 6 persons. Once on board, relax as your experienced, professional crew and owners, Doug and Deb Emery guide you into the wilderness to experience beautiful scenery, amazing wildlife and fantastic saltwater fishing. All fishing and eco touring is done aboard our 52 ft. Wahl trawler Thunder 1, a fine example of a heritage wood vessel built by master craftsman and boat builder Gordon Wahl.

Your group will stay together all day aboard the Thunder 1, fishing and cruising in the calm protected waters of Chatham Sound. No big ocean swells or small boat fishing, you have your warm comfortable vessel surrounding you at all times. Washrooms, meals, enclosed deck areas, all at your fingertips aboard the Thunder 1. Your experience is fully guided, and all equipment is top notch to enhance your fishing experience. Prepare yourself for mouth watering seafood meals, crab, salmon, halibut and prawns all abound in the area. Your evenings are spent at anchor in secluded calm bays, close to the fishing grounds. Sip your favorite beverage as the eagles swoop in for a fish and the sun sets over the Pacific Ocean.

Safety is of paramount importance to us and your vessel and crew are fully certified yearly by Transport Canada. Thunder 1 Adventures has been fishing and cruising in the Prince Rupert area for over 25 years.
